Raleigh, NC – After a chilly weekend, residents in the Raleigh area can look forward to a significant warm-up this week, with temperatures climbing into the upper 60s. While conditions will stay mostly clear, scattered showers are possible later in the week.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will bring sunny skies with a high of 61°F. Winds will remain light, picking up slightly in the afternoon. Monday night will be mostly clear, with lows around 37°F.

By Tuesday, temperatures will jump to near 69°F under sunny skies, setting the stage for a warm midweek. Tuesday night will stay mostly clear, with a low of 42°F. Wednesday will mirror Tuesday, with highs again reaching 69°F and plenty of sunshine.

Rain chances return Thursday, with a 40% chance of afternoon showers. Highs will remain mild at 67°F. Thursday night may see additional rain, with a 30% chance of showers and lows around 40°F.

Friday will clear up, bringing mostly sunny skies and highs around 59°F, followed by cooler overnight temperatures near 36°F.

Drivers should stay alert for wet road conditions later in the week, particularly on I-40 and I-540 during potential showers Thursday. Keep an eye on local forecasts for updates, and enjoy the spring-like temperatures ahead.
