Raleigh, NC – A chilly but clear night is ahead for Raleigh, as temperatures dip to 21 degrees by early Saturday morning. Residents should prepare for a cold evening and consider bundling up if heading outdoors.

According to the National Weather Service, tonight’s calm conditions will pave the way for sunny skies and a high near 45 degrees Saturday. Winds will remain light, becoming southwest at 5 mph in the afternoon. The pleasant sunshine makes it an ideal day for outdoor activities, but temperatures will drop again Saturday night to 27 degrees.

Sunday promises even warmer weather, with a high near 52 degrees under mostly sunny skies. However, Sunday night will see partly cloudy conditions with a low of 30. Looking ahead to the workweek, Monday will continue the warming trend, reaching 51 degrees. By Tuesday, temperatures are expected to climb near 59, offering a mild and sunny day for the region.

Drivers along I-40 should remain cautious of freezing temperatures overnight, particularly in low-lying areas where black ice may develop. As conditions warm through the weekend and into Monday, travel will likely improve.

Stay updated with local forecasts and plan for changing conditions early next week.
