According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, patchy frost is anticipated across areas such as Huntsville, Florence, and Cullman, particularly in low-lying regions along I-65. The frost poses risks to outdoor vegetation and unprotected pets if precautions are not taken. While a Freeze Warning is not currently in effect, temperatures are forecast to approach freezing, warranting protective measures.
Sunday will see sunny skies with a high near 65°F, making it an ideal day to enjoy outdoor activities after the morning frost clears. Winds will remain light, offering calm conditions. Looking ahead, Monday will bring increasing cloud cover, with showers and potential thunderstorms arriving Monday night into Tuesday morning. Highs will stay in the upper 50s to low 60s through midweek.
Thanksgiving Day is expected to be cloudy with a 60% chance of showers, followed by a cooling trend Thursday night. Temperatures will dip into the 30s, so plan Thanksgiving travel accordingly.
