Pittsburgh, PA – Rain is set to drench Pittsburgh this Veterans Day, with potential gusts up to 20 mph impacting outdoor plans. Showers are expected to start early in the day and continue into the night, creating slick roads and possible delays. Motorists on local highways, especially along the I-376 corridor, should plan for slower commutes and prepare for reduced visibility.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will see highs near 62°F before temperatures dip to 41°F overnight, with rain gradually easing by late evening. The rain may accumulate between half an inch to an inch by nightfall. As skies clear by Tuesday, temperatures will drop to a cooler 52°F, making for a brisk, sunny day.

Looking ahead, residents can expect a mostly clear Tuesday night with temperatures falling to a low of 30°F. Wednesday will bring another sunny day, with a high near 58°F, but cloud cover will increase into Wednesday night, bringing a 40% chance of rain. The rain pattern continues into Thursday, with partly sunny skies and a high of 57°F, followed by a 50% rain chance as the day progresses.

For the rest of the week, Friday promises more sunshine with a high near 58°F, a welcome break from the earlier rain. Overnight lows are expected to hover around 38°F, giving the Pittsburgh area a cool end to the week.
