New York, NY
 – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for parts of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and southeast New York from noon Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday, with snowfall and icy conditions expected to impact travel.

According to the National Weather Service, the region could see 2 to 4 inches of snow, along with a light glaze of ice. Areas affected include Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and New London counties in Connecticut; Passaic, Bergen, and Essex counties in New Jersey; and Rockland and Westchester counties in New York.

Residents should prepare for hazardous road conditions, especially during the evening hours when temperatures drop and ice accumulation increases. Officials advise drivers to slow down, use caution, and check local Department of Transportation updates for road conditions.

Pedestrians are also urged to watch for icy patches on sidewalks, stairs, and driveways to avoid potential slips and falls.

This system is expected to move out by early Sunday morning, with conditions improving as temperatures rise. Stay updated with the latest forecasts and plan accordingly.
