Albany, N.Y. – Skies will begin clearing across eastern New York tonight, with sunshine and breezy conditions expected to dominate the forecast through midweek, offering a welcome stretch of dry weather for most of the region.

According to the National Weather Service in Albany, a few isolated rain showers may pop up in the Adirondacks Wednesday afternoon, but the rest of the state should remain dry. Lows tonight will dip into the upper 40s across higher terrain, with valley areas holding in the mid-50s. Daytime highs will climb steadily into the upper 60s to low 80s by Wednesday.

Areas like Saratoga Springs, Glens Falls, and Albany will see mostly sunny skies with light winds on Wednesday and Thursday. Outdoor plans, roadwork, and agricultural activities should benefit from the dry spell. However, hikers and campers in the Adirondacks should stay weather-aware for brief, localized showers Wednesday afternoon.

Dry weather will continue through Thursday, with no major systems expected to disrupt the region. Another update will be issued if additional showers develop or if weekend rain chances increase.
