Northern portions of the county will see the heaviest snowfall, while Wellsville and nearby areas may receive slightly lighter amounts.
According to the National Weather Service, rapidly changing weather conditions and narrow snow bands will make travel challenging throughout the weekend. Visibility could drop significantly in heavy snow, especially during Friday’s morning and evening commutes.
Officials warn that drivers should prepare for slick roads and reduced visibility, particularly on secondary and rural roads. Those traveling for Black Friday shopping or returning from Thanksgiving gatherings are encouraged to delay trips if possible.
