According to the National Weather Service in Albuquerque, Thursday, May 29 will stay calm with highs around 89°F and light afternoon winds. But by Friday night, isolated thunderstorms could move into the region—marking the beginning of an unsettled weather pattern through early next week.

Motorists traveling on I-25 near Albuquerque should prepare for possible wet roads and reduced visibility, especially after sunset Saturday. A 20 percent chance of storms will develop late Friday and return Saturday evening, increasing slightly Sunday with a 30 percent chance of afternoon storms. Monday carries a 40 percent chance, including thunder and possible brief downpours.
