Albuquerque, NM – Albuquerque residents can expect sunny skies and rising temperatures through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Thursday will bring a high near 60 degrees, with calm winds becoming northerly at 5 mph. Overnight, temperatures will dip to around 26 degrees under mostly clear skies. Friday’s high will climb to 62 degrees, offering another sunny and calm day.
The warming trend continues into the weekend. Saturday is forecasted to hit a high of 63 degrees, while Sunday will top out at 63 again with slightly cloudier skies. Lows through the weekend will range from 30 to 36 degrees.
According to the NWS Albuquerque office, tranquil conditions will persist across northern and central New Mexico through the weekend. However, precipitation is likely to return to northern regions by midweek.
Residents should plan for outdoor activities during this stretch of mild weather. Early next week, highs will remain in the upper 50s to lower 60s, with a slight chance of showers developing by Wednesday.
