Mount Holly, NJ – Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will taper off from west to east across New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania Tuesday evening, bringing a cooler and calmer night behind a weak cold front.

According to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, overnight lows will dip into the mid-50s across northern and western Pennsylvania, while southern New Jersey and the coast hold in the low to mid-60s. Skies will become partly cloudy toward dawn, with west-northwest winds around 5 mph providing a refreshingly crisp feel.

Cities like Scranton and Columbia will drop near 56°F, while Cedarville, Lancaster, and Beach Haven are expected to bottom out around 62°F. Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs could see lows around 63–65°F before sunrise.

Although no severe weather is expected overnight, damp roads from earlier storms may still pose slick travel conditions in some areas, especially in low-lying or poorly drained spots. Residents are encouraged to check local traffic conditions and allow extra time for early morning commutes.

Temperatures will rebound quickly after sunrise with improving conditions through Wednesday. Additional advisories are not expected, but NWS will continue monitoring for any morning fog or wind shifts that could impact early travel.
