Mount Holly, N.J. – Much of New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania will see seasonable temperatures and dry skies today, though breezy conditions—especially in the Poconos and northwestern New Jersey—could linger through the afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, showers and thunderstorms that moved through Saturday night have cleared out, leaving behind a mix of clouds and sun. Temperatures will hover in the low to mid-60s for most areas, with highs closer to 58°F in the higher elevations of the Poconos and 68°F near Reading and Philadelphia.

Winds out of the northwest could reach 20 mph at times in places like Sussex, Mount Pocono, and Parsippany, prompting residents to secure outdoor items and be cautious on open roads. South Jersey, including Cape May and Atlantic City, will stay slightly milder with highs near 65°F and calmer winds.

Today’s conditions offer a break in the active weather pattern, though the breeze may keep it feeling a bit cooler. Those heading outdoors should dress in layers and watch for gusts, particularly in elevated or open areas.
