Las Vegas, NV – Southern Nevada residents can expect above-average temperatures this week with increasing cloud cover and calm winds starting today. Areas such as Las Vegas, Barstow, and Kingman will see highs in the mid-60s, while Lake Havasu City may reach a balmy 70 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service, increasing clouds will move through Las Vegas Monday with a high near 61 degrees. Winds will remain calm, creating ideal conditions for outdoor activities. Tonight will see partly cloudy skies with temperatures dropping to around 42 degrees, making for a cool but mild evening.

On Tuesday, sunny conditions will dominate the forecast, with highs rising to 68 degrees in Las Vegas and surrounding areas. Residents can anticipate mostly clear skies Tuesday night, with light northwest winds of 5 to 7 mph and lows near 45 degrees.

Wednesday and Thursday bring continued sunshine and dry conditions, with highs remaining in the mid to upper 60s across southern Nevada. Areas like Kingman and Barstow will also see similar weather, offering a pleasant break from typical December chills.

The week concludes on Friday with highs nearing 67 degrees, sunny skies, and mostly calm winds, creating favorable conditions for commuters and travelers.

Local authorities advise residents to take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather while planning ahead for potentially cooler nights. Motorists along I-15 and U.S. Route 95 should remain cautious during evening hours as visibility may be slightly reduced under partly cloudy skies.
