Las Vegas, NV – Gusty winds, cooler temperatures, and a chance of rain are set to impact southern Nevada early this week. Motorists traveling along the I-15 corridor should prepare for potentially hazardous conditions, especially near mountainous areas.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will bring a 30% chance of rain in the Las Vegas area, with wind gusts up to 21 mph. Temperatures are expected to peak at 62°F, a slight drop from Sunday’s high of 65°F. Light mountain snow is forecast for areas north and west of Interstate 15, particularly in the Sierra and Lincoln County regions.

By Tuesday, temperatures will rise slightly to 67°F, with rain chances persisting in the morning. Travelers are advised to allow extra time and check local road conditions, especially when heading into higher elevations where visibility and traction may be compromised.

The extended forecast shows drier weather returning Wednesday, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 65°F. Thanksgiving Day is expected to remain calm, featuring a pleasant high of 60°F under clear skies—ideal conditions for holiday gatherings.

Residents should secure loose outdoor items to prevent wind damage and plan accordingly for fluctuating weather throughout the week.
