According to the National Weather Service, isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected after 11 a.m. Wednesday, with increasing cloud cover and south winds around 5 to 9 mph. The chance of precipitation rises to 40% mid-afternoon, especially near the I-15 and U.S. 95 corridors in Las Vegas and Paradise.
