Reno, Nevada – Dry air and sunshine will push Reno temperatures to a spring high of 83°F by Thursday before climbing even further into the upper 80s by Friday, raising heat and hydration concerns across northern Nevada.

According to the National Weather Service, Reno’s midweek warm-up will stretch into a five-day dry streak with no rain in sight. Winds remain calm but will shift slightly by Friday, adding a light breeze that may bring dust to higher elevations and along U.S. Route 395 and I-580.

Wednesday’s high will reach 79°F under sunny skies, followed by a mild overnight low around 46°F. By Thursday, clear skies will push highs into the low 80s, with the mercury peaking at 87°F on Friday—roughly 10 degrees above seasonal norms. Drivers along I-580 and Route 395 should be aware of afternoon glare and increased vehicle heat buildup.

Outdoor plans this weekend look favorable with highs near 82°F on Saturday and 75°F by Sunday. Expect mostly sunny skies and minimal wind, although Saturday night could bring some patchy clouds and lows around 55°F.
