Muskogee, OK Authorities Probe Death Linked to Out-of-County Missing Person

Muskogee, OK – A death investigation is underway in Muskogee after deputies and police discovered a deceased individual inside a vehicle behind a store on North 32nd Street on Saturday morning.

According to the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to 3950 N 32nd Street after a caller reported a car parked in the store’s back lot with someone inside. When officers arrived, they found the vehicle’s sole occupant deceased.

The Muskogee County Investigations Division and the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene. Authorities say the deceased individual is believed to be a missing person from another jurisdiction.

Officials confirmed that the case remains under active investigation and that no additional details—including the person’s identity or cause of death—will be released until further notice.
