Great Falls, MT – A winter weather advisory remains in effect for Southern Montana, with significant snow accumulation expected to impact travel through Tuesday night. According to the National Weather Service, up to 8 inches of snow may accumulate across various regions, including Great Falls, Cascade County, and the Southern Rocky Mountain Front. Winds could gust up to 35 mph, creating hazardous conditions on local roads.

The advisory, which is set to last until midnight MDT Tuesday night, includes areas such as the Snowy and Judith Mountains, the Upper Blackfoot, and MacDonald Pass. Residents are also urged to keep livestock in mind, as the cold weather may stress newborn animals.
