According to the National Weather Service in Billings, a special weather statement remains in effect until 5:30 a.m. Tuesday. Winds gusting up to 45 mph are producing blowing snow, further reducing visibility. Snowfall rates of up to an inch per hour are expected. Impacted areas include Sheridan, Wyola, Parkman, and Ranchester. Travelers are advised to exercise caution, slow down, and stay alert for sudden visibility changes.
Today’s high in Billings is forecasted to reach 38°F under sunny skies, with winds west at 10 to 14 mph. Tonight, expect partly cloudy conditions with a low near 25°F and winds west-southwest at 15 to 17 mph.
Looking ahead, Wednesday will bring mostly sunny skies and a high of 40°F, while Thursday stays mild at 43°F. However, snow returns Thursday night into Friday, with significant accumulation possible. Temperatures Friday will hover near 28°F with snowfall likely before 11 a.m., transitioning into colder, windy conditions by the weekend.
