The system will bring cloudy skies and high temperatures around 75 degrees, with winds from the east at 5 to 10 mph. With wet roads and reduced visibility likely, drivers are urged to use caution, especially on major thoroughfares and highways around Monroe.
Saturday’s forecast shows a 70% chance of rain and thunderstorms, with highs near 74 degrees. The rain may taper off by late afternoon, but wet conditions could persist into the evening. For Veterans Day events on Sunday, Monroe residents can expect a drier day, with a 30% chance of morning showers clearing up by noon. Temperatures are expected to reach 76 degrees, with cooler air moving in by the evening.
Looking ahead, early next week promises clearer skies, with mostly sunny conditions and highs near 78 on Monday. Tuesday’s forecast also predicts sunshine with highs reaching 79, offering a respite from the rainy days.
