St. Louis, MO – Temperatures in St. Louis will remain above average through midweek, with dry weather and light winds prevailing until Monday night. Highs will range from the mid-70s to 80 degrees, continuing an unseasonably warm trend that has left the region with minimal rainfall. Residents are encouraged to conserve water and avoid outdoor burning due to the fire risk posed by dry conditions.

The US National Weather Service has forecasted two opportunities for rain this week, starting Monday night into Tuesday and again Thursday night into Friday. However, rainfall amounts are expected to be minimal, with both events bringing less than a tenth of an inch of precipitation. Widespread or significant rainfall is unlikely, leaving current drought conditions largely unchanged.

Monday will see mostly sunny skies with temperatures reaching 80 degrees before clouds move in later in the evening. Monday night’s rain chances increase after 1 a.m., with gusty winds of up to 22 mph possible. By Tuesday morning, skies will clear, and highs will rise to around 78 degrees, maintaining the week’s warm trend.

As the week progresses, Wednesday will bring slightly cooler weather with highs in the low 70s, followed by an even cooler Thursday, where temperatures are expected to peak at just 67 degrees. The next chance of rain will come Thursday night into Friday, but like earlier in the week, the rain totals are expected to be insignificant.
