St. Louis, Missouri – Families across Missouri can expect a picture-perfect Mother’s Day weekend as sunny skies and warm, seasonable temperatures settle in through Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service in St. Louis, highs will climb into the low 70s today before warming to between 73°F and 80°F on Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 40s Friday night and rise to the mid-50s by Sunday morning, with dry air and light breezes holding steady across the region.

In the St. Louis metro area, skies will stay mostly clear through Sunday, making it ideal for outdoor celebrations, farmers markets, and park visits. Southern and central counties—including Jefferson, Franklin, and Boone—will enjoy similar conditions with minimal cloud cover and no rain in sight.

Drivers should still be cautious of early morning visibility issues due to patchy ground fog in rural valleys Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise, conditions remain optimal for travel and outdoor gatherings statewide.

This stretch of mild, dry weather marks one of the most stable Mother’s Day weekends in recent years, offering a welcome break after last week’s storms. Sunshine is expected to continue into early next week, with no major weather systems on the horizon.
