Relief may come midweek with a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday. However, the hot and humid conditions will return by Saturday, with temperatures again reaching the mid-90s.
Afternoon heat indices are projected to be around 105° on Saturday, accompanied by a slight chance of showers and storms. The weekend will see temperatures remain in the 90s, with thunderstorms possible on both Saturday and Sunday, providing brief respite from the intense heat.
