Paducah, KY – Missouri and Kentucky are set to experience a week of unsettled weather, with scattered showers and thunderstorms predicted each afternoon. The National Weather Service in Paducah reports that the greatest chance of storms will occur during the afternoon hours, with a focus on western Kentucky.

According to the US National Weather Service Paducah Kentucky, today’s high will reach 85°F, with showers mainly in the afternoon. This pattern continues into Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs of 85°F and 86°F respectively. Storm activity is expected to be scattered, affecting most areas during the peak heat of the day.

Temperatures will remain relatively stable, ranging from lows in the mid-60s to highs in the mid-80s. Thursday and Friday will see similar conditions, with isolated thunderstorms particularly in western Kentucky and parts of Missouri. The weather service advises residents to stay alert for sudden changes in weather, especially during the afternoon and evening hours.

The unsettled weather is expected to continue into the weekend, with Saturday’s forecast showing a slight improvement. Temperatures will rise to 86°F with a lower chance of storms. Sunday brings a welcome break from the rain, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 88°F. The following week starts with warm and sunny conditions, with highs reaching into the low 90s.
