Duluth, MN – A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Koochiching and North St. Louis counties, including Ely and International Falls, from 3 a.m. to noon CDT on Monday. Snowfall between 3 to 5 inches is expected in northern areas, with 1 to 3 inches in southern portions.

According to the National Weather Service in Duluth, the advisory affects key locations such as Voyageurs National Park and the western portions of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Tribal lands of the Bois Forte Band, particularly the Nett Lake area, are also included in the alert.

Travelers should anticipate hazardous road conditions, especially during the Monday morning commute. Snow accumulation and slippery surfaces may cause delays, making it essential for drivers to exercise caution.
