Conditions will stay breezy, with winds picking up late Monday ahead of a cold front bringing showers and potentially severe storms overnight.
Strong to severe thunderstorms may impact western Minnesota Monday evening, including the Morris, Marshall, and Willmar areas. The Twin Cities and southern Minnesota could see heavy rainfall and lightning into early Tuesday. Commuters should prepare for wet roads, low visibility, and possible localized flooding during the Tuesday morning rush.
Residents with respiratory issues are urged to limit outdoor activity and run air purifiers indoors while the air quality alert is in effect. Officials recommend charging devices and monitoring alerts ahead of Monday night’s storms.
