Duluth, MN – A winter storm continues to impact parts of Minnesota this morning, with snow and strong winds creating hazardous road conditions. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Duluth, Hinckley, and Pine City until noon Wednesday, March 5.

According to the National Weather Service, an additional two inches of snow is expected, with wind gusts reaching up to 40 mph. These conditions could make for a difficult morning commute, particularly on major routes such as I-35 and Highway 61. Officials urge drivers to reduce speed and use caution on slippery roads.

By Wednesday afternoon, snow will taper off, and skies will clear overnight with lows dropping to 15°F. Winds will still be blustery, with gusts reaching 30 mph.

Thursday will bring mostly sunny skies and a high near 37°F, offering a break from the wintery conditions. Friday will remain dry with a high of 29°F, while Saturday sees a slight chance of snowbefore temperatures rise into the mid-40s by early next week.
