Fargo, ND – A high wind warning is in effect for parts of Minnesota and North Dakota until 7 p.m. CDT, with wind gusts reaching up to 60 mph, posing risks of power outages and hazardous travel conditions.

According to the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, the affected areas include Wilkin County in Minnesota, as well as portions of northwest and west-central Minnesota and northeast and southeast North Dakota. Cities such as Fargo, Grand Forks, Wahpeton, and Moorhead are expected to experience the strongest winds.
