Milwaukee, WI – Severe weather threatens Milwaukee this Fourth of July, with storms potentially bringing hail and strong winds. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Milwaukee/Sullivan issued a forecast warning of isolated to scattered storm activity beginning this afternoon and continuing through the evening into the overnight hours.
According to the NWS, residents west of a line from Fond du Lac to Monroe should prepare for severe storms. The primary threats include hail up to an inch in diameter and wind gusts reaching 50 mph. Storm activity is expected to be more pronounced during the late afternoon, with a front pushing in from mid-evening to overnight, increasing the likelihood of showers and thunderstorms.
