Nashville, TN – Middle Tennessee residents can expect unseasonably warm and windy weather today, with temperatures nearing record highs for November. By evening, the area will shift into a rainy pattern, bringing showers through Wednesday and continuing into Thursday.
The National Weather Service (NWS) Nashville reported that temperatures could peak between 70-81 degrees today. Winds will increase, adding to the unusual November warmth. Tonight marks the start of a rain system, the first significant one since late September, extending into Friday and Saturday.
Despite a slight cooling trend toward the weekend, temperatures will remain above seasonal norms. NWS advises that Middle Tennessee should expect scattered showers throughout the week, with a 40-80% chance of rain most days. The highest rainfall likelihood is expected Wednesday with the potential for thunderstorms.
A modest temperature drop will bring highs down to the 60s by Friday. However, forecasters warn that Middle Tennessee will likely stay warmer than average into next week.
