Marquette, MI – Snow showers will continue in Marquette on Thursday before a noticeable warming trend arrives this weekend, bringing relief from Arctic air.

According to the National Weather Service, snow showers are likely Thursday morning before clearing in the afternoon. Highs will reach around 21°F, with northwest winds at 10-15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. A fresh inch of snow accumulation is possible. By Thursday night, temperatures will drop to around 10°F with partly cloudy skies.

Friday marks the beginning of a warm-up, with partly sunny skies and a high near 29°F. By Saturday, mostly cloudy skies will accompany a high of 31°F. Nighttime lows will remain in the upper teens. Sunday could see a high of 36°F, with a chance of light snow showers.

Residents should prepare for slick roads Thursday but expect milder conditions by the weekend. Travelers should stay updated on forecasts as warmer air may bring changing conditions.
