Grand Rapids, MI – Clouds will increase Tuesday night as light rain moves in from the southwest, reaching the Grand Rapids area by early Wednesday morning.

According to the NWS Grand Rapids, areas north of I-96 could experience a wintry mix, including light snow, rain, and possible freezing rain. Lows will range from 26°F to 32°F overnight, with temperatures rising slightly into the morning.

Wednesday will see cloudy skies with scattered showers persisting throughout the day. Highs will reach the mid-40s, with breezy conditions expected in the afternoon. Northern regions may see slick roads in the morning due to lingering ice.

By Thursday, drier air will move in, but temperatures will remain seasonably cool, with highs in the 40s. Overnight lows will dip into the 20s, keeping the potential for morning frost.

Drivers should exercise caution overnight and during the morning commute, especially in areas prone to freezing rain. Stay updated on potential weather advisories.
