Detroit, Michigan – Windy conditions and morning rain will sweep across southeast Michigan Monday, causing slick roads and reduced visibility before skies begin to clear this afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac, temperatures will rise into the low 70s today, but a sharp cold front will bring cooler air overnight. Rain chances remain high through early afternoon, with gusty winds expected to pick up by evening. Tuesday brings drier air and sunshine, with highs dipping to the mid-60s and lows in the upper 40s across most of the region.

Midweek sees a brief return of showers on Wednesday morning, especially near Ann Arbor and Port Huron, before skies clear by afternoon. Rain chances range from 30–40% early in the day, with temperatures in the low 70s.

Thursday looks dry and mild before another round of widespread showers moves in Friday. Rain chances climb to 60–70% by Friday morning, potentially affecting the morning commute in metro Detroit and along I-94 and US-23.

Drivers should avoid flooded roadways, keep headlights on during rain, and monitor updates as more advisories may follow later this week.
