Gaylord, MI – A winter weather system is bringing snow and gusty winds to northern Michigan, with hazardous travel conditions expected through Saturday morning. Drivers along I-75 and other major routes should prepare for reduced visibility and slick roads.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), a Wind Advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. Friday until 4 a.m. Saturday in areas west of I-75, including Gaylord and surrounding counties. Meanwhile, a Winter Weather Advisory for Marquette and Baraga counties remains in effect until 1 a.m. Saturday, with snowfall ranging from 2 to 9 inches in some areas.

Monday: A mix of rain and snow possible, highs around 36°F.
