Grand Rapids, MI – A warm and breezy start to the week will give way to colder temperatures and mixed precipitation across West Michigan by midweek.

According to the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids, Monday’s high will reach the low to mid-50s, with sunny skies and gusty winds throughout the day. However, temperatures are set to drop into the 40s for the next several days.

By Wednesday, a rain and snow mix is expected, particularly north of I-96, as temperatures hover near 40°F. Thursday could bring additional chances for rain and snow showers before highs dip to the upper 30s by Friday, with mostly cloudy conditions.

Residents should prepare for potentially slick roads and changing conditions midweek. The NWS advises monitoring updates as forecast details develop.
