Gaylord, MI – Northern Michigan residents should prepare for multiple rounds of snow showers starting Wednesday, with temperatures dropping into the single digits by Friday night. A mix of light and moderate snowfall is expected, impacting travel conditions through the end of the week.
According to the National Weather Service, Gaylord will see partly sunny skies Wednesday with a high of 25°F, but snow showers will return Wednesday night. Winds will be light, but accumulation could make roads slick. By Thursday, snow is likely before 1 p.m., with a 60% chance of precipitation. The temperature will rise to 31°F before dropping to 11°F Thursday night. Another round of snow showers is possible before 1 a.m. Friday.
Friday and Saturday will bring mostly cloudy skies, with highs near 20°F and additional snowfall possible Saturday afternoon. Sunday’s high will be 24°F, with continued cloud cover. Residents should stay alert for changing conditions and allow extra travel time.
For those commuting on I-75 or M-32, drive cautiously as snow accumulations could create hazardous conditions. Stay updated with local forecasts to plan ahead.
