Detroit, MI – Southeast Michigan is in for a brutally cold week, with subzero wind chills and additional snowfall expected through midweek. The National Weather Service warns that strong winds could make temperatures feel dangerously cold, with wind chills as low as -10°F Monday night.
According to the National Weather Service, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon Sunday for parts of Wayne, Macomb, Monroe, St. Clair, Sanilac, and Huron counties. Additional snowfall between 2 to 4 inches is possible, particularly along the eastern shoreline. Wind gusts could reach 28 mph, making travel hazardous.

• Monday (Washington’s Birthday): Mostly cloudy with a high of 19°F. Winds west at 11–15 mph, gusting to 25 mph.
• Monday Night: Low of 3°F, mostly cloudy. Wind chills near zero.
• Tuesday: Mostly sunny, high of 17°F.
• Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, high of 19°F.
• Thursday: Mostly cloudy, high of 24°F.
