Grand Rapids, MI – A powerful Arctic air mass will grip Michigan this week, bringing subzero wind chills and snow showers that could disrupt travel. Temperatures will plummet, with wind chills making it feel as cold as -25°F by Monday night.

According to the National Weather Service, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m. Sunday, with additional snowfall and icy roads expected. Gusty winds up to 40 mph may create blowing snow and reduced visibility. Drivers should prepare for hazardous conditions, especially on I-96 and U.S. Route 131.
