According to the National Weather Service in Gaylord, showers are likely between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., with thunderstorms expected to develop after 2 p.m. Stronger cells may bring gusty winds and small hail to the region, particularly along major routes like US-131.

Localized rain totals could reach a quarter inch or more in thunderstorm areas. Drivers should reduce speed on slick roads and be cautious of sudden low visibility near Gaylord and throughout Otsego County. No severe weather is expected at this time, and spotter activation is not anticipated.
