Boise, Idaho – Idahoans can expect a picture-perfect Memorial Day weekend with sunshine and warm temperatures forecast across much of the state.

According to the National Weather Service in Boise, sunny skies will dominate Saturday and Sunday, with highs reaching 88°F in Boise on Sunday and hovering in the low 80s in Twin Falls, Ontario, and Baker City. Even McCall, nestled in the central mountains, will see highs in the low 70s under clear skies.

Cities across southern Idaho, including Burns and Baker City, will see consistent sunshine and temperatures in the upper 70s, making for ideal grilling and travel conditions. By Monday, skies remain mostly sunny, though isolated showers are possible in eastern parts of the region, with a 20% chance of rain in areas like McCall and Twin Falls.

Travelers are advised to stay hydrated and wear sunscreen, especially during peak afternoon hours. Roads and highways, including I-84 through Boise and Ontario, are expected to remain clear, with no major weather-related hazards.

While minor cloud cover may appear Monday afternoon, the overall trend is warm and dry through the holiday. Updates will follow if rain chances increase or any advisories are issued.
