Baltimore, MD – A chilly and mostly clear Monday will lead into a rain-soaked Thanksgiving, impacting travel plans along the I-95 corridor. Residents should expect temperatures to dip into the upper 30s tonight, followed by a mild day Monday with highs near 60 degrees.
According to the National Weather Service, a chance of showers will develop late Monday night into Tuesday morning, but precipitation remains light at only 20%. Highs Tuesday will reach 63 degrees, making it one of the warmest days this week. However, temperatures will drop to the 30s again by Tuesday night, signaling cooler days ahead.
By Wednesday, conditions will remain dry but partly cloudy, with highs in the mid-50s. Rain is likely to arrive Wednesday night into Thanksgiving Day, with a 70% chance of showers. Thanksgiving travelers along major routes, including I-95, should expect wet road conditions and potential delays. Highs Thursday will hover around 54 degrees, accompanied by gusty winds.
The rain may persist into Friday morning before skies clear later in the day. Temperatures Friday will peak near 49 degrees but drop sharply into the low 30s overnight. By Saturday, sunny skies will return, offering cooler highs in the mid-40s.
Drivers should exercise caution as slick roads could impact Thanksgiving travel. Keep umbrellas handy this week, and plan for cold evenings to round out the holiday.
