Baltimore, MD — Spring weather rolls into Maryland with showers and gusty winds expected to impact the Baltimore metro and I-95 corridor starting early Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, rain chances climb to 80% before 11 a.m. Monday with gusts up to 21 mph. Motorists commuting on I-95 should expect wet roads and limited visibility through mid-morning. Precipitation totals remain light—under a tenth of an inch—but slick conditions could disrupt travel during peak hours.

Sunday night brings increasing cloud cover with rain moving in after 2 a.m. as southeast winds build to 20 mph. Temperatures will hold near 44°F overnight before climbing to a high near 66°F Monday. Gusts will persist through Monday night, when skies clear and lows dip to 46°F.

Tuesday offers a break in the pattern with mostly sunny skies and a high near 62°F. However, another round of showers could return Tuesday night, bringing a 40% chance of precipitation and lows near 41°F.

Wednesday will see scattered showers before 2 p.m., then clearing skies with highs around 56°F. Cooler air settles in Wednesday night with lows dropping to 37°F.

The second half of the week turns brighter. Expect sunshine Thursday and Friday with highs in the mid-60s. By Saturday, highs may approach 70°F, offering a true taste of spring.
