Baltimore, MD – A powerful cold front moving through Maryland tonight is expected to bring heavy rain, gusty winds, and significant cooling. Residents along the I-95 corridor should prepare for possible thunderstorms and challenging driving conditions as the front pushes through late Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

According to the National Weather Service, thunderstorms are likely tonight, with wind gusts reaching up to 35 mph. Drivers on major routes like I-95 and I-695 should exercise caution, particularly after 10 p.m., when storms are expected to intensify. Rainfall totals could range between half an inch and one inch overnight. Cooler air will follow the storms, dropping daytime highs from the mid-60s on Wednesday to the low 50s on Thursday.
