Baltimore, MD – A dense fog advisory is in effect for Baltimore and surrounding areas, particularly along I-81. Drivers heading west toward the Blue Ridge Mountains this morning should expect delays and dangerous driving conditions due to reduced visibility. The advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. on Friday. Motorists are advised to use low-beam headlights and allow extra travel time.

According to the National Weather Service, dense fog is most prevalent in the early morning hours, but conditions should clear up by late morning. Afterward, expect mostly clear skies and a high of 82°F for the remainder of the day. Drivers should stay alert and check for updates on local road conditions.

Looking ahead, the weekend will bring slightly cooler temperatures, with highs in the upper 70s on Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances increase Sunday evening, carrying into the early part of next week. Expect highs to remain in the low 70s through Wednesday.
