Caribou, ME – Residents in the Caribou area should brace for rain and patchy fog tonight, with heavier precipitation likely on Sunday. Saturday night will remain cloudy with a low near 47°F as showers develop. Sunday brings a 90% chance of rain, starting in the afternoon and continuing into the evening, with gusts reaching up to 20 mph.

The National Weather Service warns that visibility could be reduced due to fog, making travel on Route 1 and surrounding areas more hazardous. Expect additional rain on Monday, with an 80% chance of showers in the morning. Rainfall amounts could range between a tenth and a quarter inch, so be prepared for slow travel conditions as roads become slippery.

The rain will persist through Monday night, with patchy fog developing once again. Tuesday’s forecast calls for lighter showers, with another round of wet weather expected Tuesday night into Wednesday. Keep an eye on weather updates, especially if you’re traveling early next week, as conditions will remain unsettled.
