Gray, ME – A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Southern Somerset County in Maine and Southern Grafton County in New Hampshire from 7 p.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday. Residents should prepare for snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches and gusty winds up to 25 mph.

According to the National Weather Service, snowfall is expected to begin this evening, potentially creating hazardous travel conditions. Snow-covered roads and reduced visibility could make the Monday morning commute dangerous. Residents in towns including Skowhegan, Plymouth, and Madison in Maine, as well as Holderness and Plymouth in New Hampshire, are urged to drive cautiously and monitor conditions.

The advisory also warns of gusty winds, which could scatter unsecured objects and damage tree limbs. Although the threat of power outages is limited, residents should remain prepared.

Snow is expected to taper off by early Monday morning, but roads may remain slippery during peak commuting hours. Plan ahead and stay informed about local weather updates.
