Louisville, KY – Fog and cloudy skies are making for a chilly Saturday, with temperatures hovering around 41 degrees this morning. Conditions will improve slightly Sunday, but rain showers are forecast to disrupt Thanksgiving week travel beginning Monday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, Louisville will see mostly cloudy skies today with highs near 49 degrees. Tonight, patchy fog is expected, potentially reducing visibility along major roadways, including I-65 and I-64. Drivers should exercise caution during nighttime travel, especially in low-lying areas.

Sunday brings a break in the clouds with mostly sunny skies and highs reaching 59 degrees, making it an ideal day for outdoor activities or last-minute Thanksgiving errands. Winds will be light, offering a calm day across the region.

Monday, however, marks the return of wet weather. Rain showers are expected after 1 p.m., with a 70% chance of precipitation and gusts reaching 20 mph. Highs will climb to 62 degrees before cooler air moves in overnight. Commuters on I-65 and other regional routes should plan for potential delays as rainfall may impact visibility and road conditions during the afternoon and evening hours.

The five-day forecast includes mostly sunny skies Tuesday, with highs near 46, before another round of showers arrives Wednesday afternoon. Thanksgiving Day will see a 50% chance of rain, with highs near 46, keeping festivities damp and cool.
