Shreveport, LA – Residents in Shreveport should prepare for patchy fog and a slight chance of showers Wednesday morning, followed by warm temperatures and gusty winds in the afternoon. Morning commuters may experience reduced visibility, especially along major roadways like I-20 and I-49.

According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday will start with areas of fog before 9 a.m., with a 20% chance of showers developing later in the day. Skies will remain partly sunny, and temperatures will climb to a high of 80°F. South winds will range from 5 to 10 mph, with gusts reaching up to 20 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday night will stay partly cloudy, with temperatures dropping to a mild 65°F. Winds will continue from the south at 10 mph, with occasional gusts.

Looking Ahead: A Warm and Mostly Dry End to the Week

Thursday and Friday will bring mostly sunny skies, with highs reaching 81°F and 80°F, respectively. Winds will pick up slightly, with gusts of 20 mph possible on Thursday. Overnight lows will remain in the low-to-mid 60s.

By the weekend, temperatures will rise even further, hitting 83°F on Saturday under mostly sunny skies. However, a shift in weather patterns will bring an increasing chance of showers Sunday night into Monday. Rain chances will rise to 30% by early next week, with cooler temperatures expected Monday, where the high will reach 56°F.
