Severe thunderstorms could disrupt travel and cause power outages across the southern half of the Four State Region tonight. As rain chances remain high, particularly along and southeast of the I-30 Corridor, residents should be prepared for strong winds and intense rainfall. According to the National Weather Service Shreveport, thunderstorms are expected to affect areas from southeastern Texas to western Arkansas. These storms could continue through the late evening hours, with the heaviest rain anticipated across central and eastern Texas and southwestern Arkansas.

In particular, cities like Shreveport, Longview, and Texarkana are at high risk of storms, with rain chances peaking around 75-80%.
