Denver, CO – Light snow in the Colorado high country is expected to taper off by noon today, offering some relief for travelers in elevated regions. Areas above 10,000 feet will see snow showers diminish as a Winter Weather Advisory ends at 12 PM MDT, clearing roads for the week ahead.

According to the National Weather Service, below-normal temperatures will dominate the region today, with highs only reaching the upper 50s across most of the Front Range. Cooler conditions will linger into Monday, providing a much-needed break from the heat but adding a chill to the air.

Drivers planning trips along I-70 should still exercise caution this morning, as snow and rain may lead to slick roads, especially at higher altitudes. Expect mostly cloudy skies to clear by this evening, making way for sunshine and dry conditions Monday through Wednesday. For those in the mountains, clear skies will return by Monday, bringing mild weather for the week ahead. Plan for cooler temperatures and pack accordingly.
