Las Vegas, NV – Visitors and residents in Las Vegas should prepare for a hot weekend as high temperatures spread across the region. Sunday’s forecast shows a high of 99°F at Lake Mead and 105°F in Death Valley, which may impact outdoor activities.

According to the National Weather Service, sunny skies and high-pressure conditions are expected to push temperatures well above average. For those planning outdoor activities, it is advisable to head out early in the day, especially at locations like Red Rock Canyon, which will reach 86°F by Sunday afternoon. Lake Mead is forecast to reach 97°F today and climb even higher on Sunday.

Hot conditions will persist into next week, with temperatures reaching 95°F by Monday and gradually increasing to 97°F by Wednesday. Visitors to Mojave Preserve, where highs will hit 84°F, should prepare for limited shade and stay hydrated.
